Please note that the GHF’s contact address has changed and that due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to make some changes on some of the Seekers Trust courses and that we have also made some existing additions!
The fellowship’s first self-published book, ‘Realms of Wondrous Gifts’, has received excellent reviews since its release! Among the different publications and websites that featured it, was the highly popular SpiritGuides websites, who not only gave it extremely prominent coverage, but also requested extracts from it, along with other writings from books by Glyn Edwards, Santoshan (Stephen Wollaston) and Swami Dharmananda Saraswati to feature on their various sites’ teachings pages, and consequently reviewed Glyn’s and Santoshan’s second book, ‘Unleash your Spiritual Powers and Grow’, recommending it highly on all their sites. It is because of excellent sales of ‘Realms of Wondrous Gifts’, that the fellowship is now able to offer it with free postage in the UK!
Visitors to the GHF website might notice some changes since their last visit. This is because we have switched to a more user-friendly web programme, so the various people involved in working behind the scenes and keeping the GHF’s website up-to-date can have more immediate and direct access to upload course information and any relevant news. It was while we were in the process of making the changeover, that we decided to make a few changes to the site’s appearance. We will also be looking at making some functions more automated in order to send out current news about the fellowship and to process sale items quicker in the near future.
But most important of all, please note that we have uploaded some new details about forthcoming events and courses that were not mentioned previously, such as ongoing Special Weekends and Days with the highly respected mediums Glyn Edwards and Mark Webb being run at the delightful Seekers Trust venue in Kent, two rare and unique workshops with the excellent spiritual author Santoshan (Stephen Wollaston) taking place at Woodford Spiritualist Church, which if you haven’t been there before, it is a magnificent modern building on the edge of London and easy to get to, and a superb course on ‘Working with Energies’ with the always excellent teacher and medium Eileen Davies and Glyn Edwards in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District.
In the meantime, we hope you like the new look website!

On Saturday 18th October, the Gordon Higginson Fellowship held a unique special event with some of the UK’s most respected and knowledgeable mediums and teachers of psychic science, mediumship and spirituality at the Seekers Trust, Kent. The Seekers itself was founded by Charles Simpson who was a highly influential healer last century.
The main demonstrators and teachers who graced the platform and spoke, demonstrated and run excellent workshops were the international mediums Glyn Edwards, Andreas Vasiliou, Muriel Tennant, Graham Hewitt and Mark Webb, who talked much about the development of trance and sat for his spirit control James, who gave a wonderful summary of what spirituality and development needed to embrace. Also appearing on the day was the respected spiritual writer Santoshan (Stephen Wollaston), the author of the highly favourably reviewed recent book ‘Realms of Wondrous Gifts’, who spoke inspiringly about the universality of the spirit, being deeply in touch with the spirit in all and what is essential now for the spiritual journey.
All the workshops reflected a strong practical element, and tied in with crucial themes of one another and the Fellowship’s all-embracing approach to spirituality and evolvement. Graham Hewitt touched profoundly on aspects of consciousness. Andreas Vasiliou, who was particularly known in the 1970s for being the world’s highest paid medium, started the day with a talk about how this happened more through the workings of the spirit. He also talked about how practices of compassion, unity in diversity and overcoming religious barriers were highly important on the spiritual and mediumistic path. As always, he talked with great humour, a warm heart and great sincerity.
The excellent and highly regarded medium Muriel Tennant did a joint workshop with Mark Webb and a demonstration of mediumship with Glyn Edwards and Graham Hewitt, which rounded off the day. The work by all three of these mediums together on the platform proved to be a highlight to an excellent and special day, in which Glyn Edwards gave a truly outstanding demonstration of mediumship. Throughout the day Glyn gave not only some superb advice in one of his joint workshops and talks, but also, along with co-author Santoshan, helped to conduct much of the day with a great sense of fun and warmth.
In all, everyone who took part was in top form and widened the perimeters of spirituality for our postmodern era. But, as Santoshan pointed out, “The day would not have been possible without the kind help of many volunteers, such as Jean Dixon from Hythe Church, Kent, who handled the bookings, and many others working behind the scenes and on the day, making the food, doing private sittings, and so on”. The day also had many free books, newsletters and magazines for students, which were kindly donated by Two Worlds magazine and Amaravati Buddhist monastery. A donation of £80 for the monastery was also raised and there was a first class raffle of some superb prizes, including recent books by Glyn Edwards, Santoshan and Swami Dharmananda Saraswati.
The positive feedback from the GHF’s first high profile event has been tremendous. We can only hope that we will not have to wait long before they decide to do another one! |
